Existence and Effectiveness of Human Pheromones as Aphrodisiac

How effective are pheromone products, such as pheromone cologne, as aphrodisiac? According to many research, human pheromones, like that with animals and insects, are also known for its effect in attracting the opposite sex for procreation, or in other cases, for one-night stands.

Existence of Human Pheromones
According to many experts, the existence of human pheromones have been widely debated, in which some scientists had suggested that evolution had removed the use of pheromones due to the fact that humans had developed the ability to talk, making pheromones irrelevant for socialization.

However, many still believes that human pheromones still exist, and that we can affect another human’s social behavior without our knowledge. A popular example is the McClintock Effect by Martha McClintock of the University of Chicago.
