What Does Research Show? Do Pheromones Work?

The evidence is compelling but not definitive. As with many other methods to attract the opposite sex, you will have to try it for yourself and make your own evaluation. It's cheaper than buying a sports car, that's for sure.

Can the claims of hormone-enhanced perfumes and colognes be believed? Do pheromones work in making dating easier and more successful? The jury is still out on this matter, as scientist continue to examine all kinds of living organisms and people continue to have differing opinions.

Science does know that human pheromones exist and that they do work in many social situations in all sorts of organisms, from bacteria to insects to sea creatures. Androgynous bacteria lay 'scent' trails that others of the species can follow, female butterflies can attract males from as much as six miles away, and sea urchins release detectable amounts of hormones into the surrounding waters during breeding season. The species-specific secretions have been studied for the different signals they can send.

The question is whether or not these secretions can be isolated, mixed with carrier oils or other substances, and used topically to any real effect. It is now commercially viable to use this sort of hormone in pest control products, and there are many valuable, ecologically-friendly products in general use. This success which lends validity to the use of attraction and repelling hormones would seem to indicate that the substances do work when separated from their original hosts.

After all, if sonar works for bats and dolphins and also for the world's naval forces, why would it not be true that sex hormones that attract mates in the insect world would signal similar actions at work on the human level? It is known that some individuals seem to have potent 'sex appeal' that physical appearance alone does not account for. There are people who keep their attraction to the opposite sex long after their first bloom of youth has faded.

Some suspect that the effects of this type of hormone is fleeting - too much so to be captured in a topical scent. However, it is true that those pest controls are effective when suspended in balls and bags from trees, without repeated and frequent applications. Testimonials, easy to find online, show that there are many people who feel that the products have enhanced their dating experiences and opened up avenues to meet new people that might never otherwise have been found.

Go online and survey the many offerings, generally considered safe, ethical (all's fair in love and war?), and with anecdotal support. Choose an application that appeals to you, and give it a try, so you may get your own answer to the question: Do pheromones work? For more information visit to our site at www.luvessentials.com.

Do Pheromones Work In Human Dating Games?

There are many perfumes and colognes sold online that claim to heighten the interest of the opposite sex, but many consumers ask: Do pheromones work? Although scientific research gives some information, the answer is neither a definite 'yes' or 'no'.

Since the late 1950s, scientists have isolated the active substances that living organisms, from microscopic plants and animals to complex mammals, produce to communicate with one another. These signals, based on hormonal secretions, can send different messages and be either fleeting or surprisingly persistent in effect. There are some female butterflies that send scents that can attract males as much as six miles away.

These chemical compounds can have significance in maternal bonding with offspring, sending alarms throughout a communal hive or hill, and in directing other members of the community to food. However, one of the significant effects is to attract mates of the same species. Scientists know that these effects are real, and there are many ecologically friendly past suppression methods that utilize the technology.

However, there is no definitive scientific data about the efficacy of using topical applications of human pheromones to influence members of the opposite sex in social interaction. The secretion of hormones is known to happen, but whether they last long enough to be valid in a perfume or cologne, or whether using hormones that actually belong to another can help is not known. Testimonial evidence is too subjective to be considered scientific proof, but it can still be compelling to those who are interested in these products.

There are male and female hormones. Some research supports the idea that male hormones can stimulate interest, while female ones attract males and signal a willingness to breed. It is known that maternal hormones encourage the identification and bonding between mothers and their young. All of these aspects may have relevance in the social interaction of men and women at the physiological level.

There is reason to think that this sort of subliminal hormonal messaging can affect humans, but there is no proof that it is so with a topical application. Products are often fairly vague about the actual methods of production, the source of their active ingredients, and the amount of success that can be achieved. Others who believe in the effects may feel that using such supplemental aids is unethical or artificial enough to send misleading signals.

It comes down to personal choice. If you feel that using human pheromones is similar to using flowery or musky perfumes and aftershaves, you might want to search these enhanced products online. There is much information and different opinions that will help you decide for yourself: Do pheromones work?

LuvEssentials Review!

One of the reasons that I love blogging and doing reviews…is the fun and crazy products I get to learn about!  I was happy to be able to work with a company called LuvEssentials. They sell Pheromones to attract the opposite sex. I had vaguely heard about products like this before and I was excited to be able to learn more.  They sent me one bottle each of unscented "Max Attraction”, scented "Max Attraction SILK, "Scent of Eros" and "Luscious Lips" and I couldn’t wait for them to arrive. I couldn’t wait to see how this worked!

I got the package within a few days, and instantly started reading the bottles. I put on the Silk perfume as directed, one spray on the outer layer of my clothes. First impression, it smelled good. Even without the pheromones being involved, the fragrance smelled good enough that I would buy it again! Now, for my fiancé to get home from work!

When he walked in the door, he gave me my hug as usual and said, “Mmm you smell nice”. I didn’t tell him about the review or the product prior to him coming home. The rest of the night went well and needless to say…I kind of think it worked! I can’t be sure that it was the pheromones, or just that he liked the fragrance….but he certainly liked it!

I also wear the Max Attraction Unscented occasionally. It comes in a small blue bottle with an eye dropper in it. You put a few drops on your wrists or behind your ears. It almost smells a bit like alcohol until you put it on. After its on, it doesn’t smell like a thing.

The Scent of Eros is nice because it is a really tiny bottle that rolls onto your skin. Great for keeping in your purse when you go out!

“Pheromones Attract In The News” section on their site has links to CNN, Discovery Health, WebMD, ABC News, New York Times and more!

The Max Attraction Silk 0.46 fl oz bottle sells at a discounted price of $69.65

The Unscented - Max Attraction 0.46 fl oz bottle sells at a discounted price of $62.97

And last but not least,

The Scent of Eros - Floral Fragrance 0.33 Fl Oz. roll on sells at a discounted price of $49.95

Overall, I really enjoyed this product! The scents smell great and the company was very friendly and fast with shipping!
